According to reports, Apollo and Blackstone are seeking additional investors for a debt financing deal. The funds raised from this transaction will be used entirely to purchase Google’s AI chips, the Tensor Processing Units (TPUs). These TPUs will be provided to Antropic on a lease basis.
If the deal is finalized, it is expected to be the largest debt financing ever for AI chip procurement.

Rising China’s TCL Chases 2.7 Percentage Points Over Samsung Electronics in Global TV Market
