ADT & SNST Vietnam is a company specializing in the field of IC design with 100% Korean capital operating in Ho Chi Minh – Vietnam. Established in 2018, after 5 years of formation and development, the company now has 250 engineers with an average of 4 years of experience and has also tape-out many large projects with partners from Korea as well as Europe.

Thereby, on November 30, 2023, the delegation of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA) chose ADT & SNST for the meeting during their visit to Vietnam this time.

Leading the KSIA delegation was Mr. Kim Jeonghoe – Vice President who discussed and shared information with the company’s Board of Directors about the situation of IC design human resources as well as opportunities to expand business with companies in the same industry in Vietnam market.

In the discussion, Mr. Kim Hee Seok – CEO of ADT & SNST Vietnam shared about the results achieved after 5 years of establishment, the projects that have been cooperating with Samsung as well as the plan to increase the number of engineers to 400 by 2025.

Besides, the company also supports connecting the delegation with the Department of Computer Engineering – University of Information Technology – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The Faculty representative presented and provided the delegation with information about the training and research position of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; about the training scale, training majors and research activities of the University of Information Technology; about the training and research capacity of the Department of Computer Engineering in the majors of Circuit Design, Embedded System Design and IoT, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, the Faculty of Computer Engineering also informed ADT Company and KSIA about community activities and the results achieved by students of the Faculty of Computer Engineering in specialized domestic and international academic competitions.

The visiting delegation of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association highly appreciated the information from this meeting and promised many opportunities to expand connections with partners in the field of ICs as well as train and IC engineers manpower in Vietnam.
